The Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company is a small company situated in the heart of rural Western Maryland. We provide fire rescue services from the Potomac River to the Pennsylvania line and from the western edge of Hagerstown all the way to Hancock. 

     We are always equipped and ready to provide coverage to approximately 8000 of our residents and tens of thousands of motorists who travel on our 20-mile portion of Interstate I-70 every month. 

     We are responsible for a portion of the C&O Canal, the Western Maryland Rail Trail and multiple wildlife management areas. We are capable of water/ice rescues on the Potomac River to high-angle rescues and forest fire suppression on our local mountains. 

     We have access to Maryland State Police Aviation, enabling us to have seriously injured patients transported by helicopter to the best trauma center in the Nation within an hour.
